Graduated Freshwater Pearl Necklace

I have been looking at pearl necklaces for sometime now and with so much choice out there I am finding it hard to choose.

I think I am really erring on the Graduated Freshwater Pearl Necklace as it’s a real classic style which I think will never date and will always look elegant whichever outfit I wear them with.   Now I have made that choice I need to consider what type of pearl and to consider colour.  From what I have learned in my interest in pearls is that pearls vary in price considerably.

The Pearl Necklace I have just seen is probably not as expensive as the Akoya pearls which are farmed in the warm seas offJapan andChina as these pearls are considered the crème de la crème of the pearls industry. These pearls are farmed naturally and each oyster produces only one pearl whereas the freshwater pearls can produce up to ten pearls in one mollusc which obviously will mean they will be cheaper to produce.

Of course I would prefer the Akoya Pearls but the freshwater pearls are still very beautiful pearls and I think in a Graduated Freshwater Pearl Necklace they will still look stunning and I will be more than happy to show them off to all my friends at the office party next month.

There are so many products to choose from though, so it’s really difficult to pick just one!   Oh well, I suppose I’ll just have to take a chance and wear it with pride!
