I recently purchased the Canon PIXMA MG3200 to replace a Lexmark X4650. The Lexmark printed great but I had a lot of issues with the wifi network printing and it wasn’t compatible with airprint for apple products. The Canon was a breath of fresh air. It was easy to assemble, easy to set up, and the Canon had no problem printing from our ipod, ipad, iphone, or iMac on the first try without the need for apps or other steps. (yes, a little apple heavy as seen here http://mochakafe.com).The printing is not as smooth or fast as the Lexmark, but it does the job just fine. It may print heavier on the ink than I am used to so I will probably change the quality of the print jobs to “draft” or another lighter option for minor jobs.I see a lot of reviews on how much ink the Canon uses, but since I try to keep most things soft copy and print only when I need to, I’m hoping I will not run into this problem at all read more here.
It works reliably, and it’s really nice being able to print from my laptop while I’m sitting in my living room, without removing the laptop from its power cord & connecting it to a hard-line printer. The only issue I had was, it never did detect my wireless, and I had to set it up manually, which was less than obvious. It took me a couple days to get it working. Now that it’s set up, it works fine, though.
Almost a month in I do not have any complaints. So far a great product.
